BOUND BY MAGIC starts off with an Erotic bang!

Although I maybe bias since I'm a friends with the author but, this book is a fun entertaining read. I definitely recommend it. I think any fan of Erotica Fantasy would enjoy it.

For a first time author, Amanda Cummings writes sex scenes amazingly well. She has created a very unique world, that consists of erotic dreams, magic, hunky guys and of course the bad guys who are trying to ruin everything.

Book Description: Two worlds held together by magic, the Earth realm and the realm of Aldar. Amber Moyer is a Chosen from our world. As the time draws near Samhain, Tavis, from Aldar, seeks her out in dreams. They are soul mates. Together they sustain his realm with the life giving magic of the Earth realm. But there is evil that seeks Aldar. Will Tavis and Amber be able to overcome the evil? Or suffer the same fate as Amber's mother so many years ago?

I discovered A Light in the Heart of Darkness through the website Shelfari.com, by meeting the author. She recommended the book to me. This is the fourth book in The Guardian Heart Series, and the I first one I read. For those who are wondering, I have been told by the author that these books don't need to be read in order all of them are stand alone novels. I would describe this book as Dark Fantasy Anime, with a dash of Romance. This was my first dip into the Anime genre and I have to say I throughly enjoyed it. It was a fast paced, exciting and suspenseful. I'd definitley recommend it. I believe any Anime fan out there would enjoy this book. It's an entertaining story with amazing graphics.

Book Description:
To Kyoko, mythical creatures are something you rent and watch on a Saturday night with your friends. When a mysterious stalker turns the shadows around her into dark corners with sharp deadly edges, will she be able to hide from the past? Darkness has fallen upon the world again and the guardians have been awaiting the resurrection. Though they are thought to be creatures of myth, in this reality they are far more real than people think. Only when the moon is high will these creatures, these guardians, battle the evil that seeks to overtake the world and the girl who holds ultimate power. the light in the heart of darkness.

A Light In The Heart of Darkness was written by Amy Blankenship & R. K. Melton

WAGES OF SIN By: Jenna Maclaine is the first book in her Cin Craven series. This book was originally published in January 2006 by Lulu.com. I read it back then and just loved it. It's set in Historical time, but definitley a Paranormal Romance too.

Jenna Maclaine has been luck enough to be picked up by St. Martin's Press, who will be re-releasing the book on July 29, 2008.

Book Description: Dulcinea Macgregor Craven is the only child of a wealthy English viscount. She is also a natural witch, one of a long line of Macgregor witches on her mother's side. When her parents are killed in a carriage accident, Dulcie doesn't think her life can get much worse. Then an old childhood friend returns to the country a little bit differently than he left and vows that nothing will stop him from possessing her and her magic. In a desperate attempt to save her life, Dulcie summons a trio of vampires called The Righteous to her aid. With the help of The Righteous and four human friends, Dulcie attempts to thwart her enemy's plans to capture her and use her magic for his own evil purposes. Even as she falls in love for the first time, Dulcie realizes that she may have to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to save the world.

ARC- Happy Hour of the Dead

First I have to say I loved, loved this book. It was dark, sexy and funny. It's like no other book out there. Especially for an Urban Fantasy. If your a fan of Urban Fantasy novels, Happy Hour of the Damned is definitely a must read!

I met Mark Henry by way of MySpace & LiveJournal. Before I knew what his book was about I seen the cover art and was pretty much hooked. It's a pretty great cover as you can see above. The art department really out did themselves. And lets face it, in the past there have been some pretty terrible covers. To the point where the people on the cover look nothing like what the characters actually do.

Our heroine... Amanda is sassy, catty, a fun fashionista party girl, laugh out loud funny and a zombie to boot. She's not your father's type of zombies. She maybe be a flesh eating zombie, but she does it with style. For as she puts it she's "Hot as Hell"

BOOK DESCRIPTION:
Seattle. One minute you're drinking a vanilla breve, the next, some creepy old dude is breathing on you, turning you into a zombie. And that's just for starters. Now, the recently deceased Amanda Feral is trying to make her way through Seattle's undead scene with style (mortuary-grade makeup, six-inch stilettos, Balenciaga handbag on sale) while satisfying her craving for human flesh (Don't judge. And no, not like chicken.) and decent vodkatinis.

Making her way through a dangerous world of cloud-doped bloodsuckers, reapers, horny and horned devils, werewolves, celebrities, and PR-obsessed shapeshifters-not to mention an extremely hot bartender named Ricardo-isn't easy. And the minute one of Amanda's undead friends disappears after texting the word, "help" (The undead-so dramatic!) she knows the afterlife is about to get really ugly.
Something sinister is at hand. Someone or something is hellbent on turning Seattle's undead underworld into a place of true terror. And this time, Amanda may meet a fate a lot worse than death.

Amanda Ashley was one of the first Paranormal Romance authors I read. The book was Desire After Dark, which is a great read by the way. At the time I was a bit clueless thinking it was her first book so I had to go back and read the ones that came before it and I've been reading her ever since.

At the end of the summer I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for her soon to be released novel Dead Perfect. I finally got around to reading it and it didn't disappoint. Very good read, I defintley recommend reading it. The author being a lover of vampires, has created great vampire characters time and time again. This time is no different. Although this is a vampire novel it is also a very tender and sweet romance. This is the first Paranormal Romance novel that I read that isn't bogged down by sex scenes, not that that is a bad thing. ;)

Shannah is dying and there's nothing she can do to stop it. Until she spots a man who she thinks might be a vampire. Without knowing what she really wants she starts to stalk him. But when they finally meet, he offers her something that she wasn't even looking for....

Book Description:
Only a woman with nothing left to lose knocks on a vampire’s door and asks for help. Shannah Davis is convinced that the mysterious dark-haired man she’s followed for months can save her life—if he doesn’t kill her first. But though Ronan insists he can’t give her what she needs, his kiss unleashes a primal hunger that makes her feel truly alive for the first time.

After centuries of existence, Ronan has done the unthinkable. He has fallen in love with a mortal—and one with only weeks to live. Sensing the fear and reluctance beneath Shannah’s request, he offers her a different bargain that will keep her near him during the time she has left. Every hour spent together leaves him craving her touch, her scent, her life’s essence. Soon, only Shannah can satisfy his thirst. But if he saves her from death, will she love him for it—or spend eternity regretting what she has become?

If you haven't had the pleasure of reading Yasmine Galenorn's new Urban Fantasy series. Your defintley missing out and I highly recommend that you check it out. I finished reading Darkling this week. It is the third book in Galenorn's Sisters of the Moon series. I really enjoyed this just as I did the first two. The Otherworld is a great place to spend time in.

The third book is in Menolly's POV, the youngest of the sisters. Like her sisters she is half-human and half-Faerie, but she is also a vampire. Trying to deal with her demons and the nightmares of her sire. In the first two books you find out that Menolly has been through hell and is kinda hard and cold due to that. What I liked about this third book is that we got the whole story behind Menolly and found out that she isn't all cold, but has a very soft side to her. I'm looking foward to read more stories in her POV.

BOOK DESCRIPTION:
Meet the D'Artigo Sisters-three half human, half-Faerie, wild and sexy members of the OIA-the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. Camille, a witch, Delilah, a werecat, and Menolly, an acrobat extraordinaire turned vampire, are sent Earthside to keep them out of trouble by their superiors, but the girls find themselves smack in the middle of Demon-Central when Shadow Wing, the leader of the Subterranean Realms, decides to attempt a coup on both Earth and Otherworld. Now, with their erratic powers, the sisters must use their collective talents to prevent the demons from taking over and to save two worlds, one monster at a time.

All over Seattle, humans have been going missing, only to turn up as newborn vampires--the sure sign of a rogue vamp on the loose. It looks like Dredge is to blame. The same sadistic Dredge who gave me my scars, and who may well be in cahoots with the demon Shadow Wing. If so, Otherworld and Earth are screwed. The only way we can hope to defeat Dredge is for me to travel home to Otherworld, where I must face my own demons. Because unless I sever the ties that bind me to Dredge, all hell is going to break loose...

I just finished reading this book. It's the first book in the Night Huntress series By: Jeaniene Frost. At first I thought I was gonna having trouble getting through it. But it was an amazingly fast read. I loved both the storie and the characters. Bones is very sexy and exciting vampire. For that alone I would recommend this book. Although I'm not a fan of the ending, I have to say Jeaniene Frost is my favorite new author. Looking forward to book two- One Foot In The Grave. It comes out April 22, 2008

Book Description:
Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.

In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner—are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side . . . and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.
